1. What is Background Station all about? >> view
Background Station is a website for all you creative cats and bland cats to have an easy and quick platform to make your own myspace layout and background to be used on your myspace page.
Basically, you click Design My Layout to your left and follow an easy 4 step process on that page and you will have created your own custom layout or background (theme, background image, tweaks and all) that gets displayed right into your profile...you don't even have to paste code! Also, you'll be able to preview it and make changes / tweaks before telling us you want to "try it on".
If you are looking for custom myspace layouts and backgrounds that you don't have to create, check out the Gallery on this site for layouts we've made or for one's our users have made and chosen to share with you. Oh, and If you don't find what you're looking for here, then definitely check out the sick layouts on cleanupmyspace.com.
2. The Background I'm trying on isn't showing up on my profile page! >> view
The solution is probably one of the following:

A---- Did you delete the code from the previous layout you had on your profile page?
Be sure to delete the code from your previous layout in the about me section before trying on the Background Station layout you've made.
If you got your previous layout from -MySpace's profile editor- be sure to go back there and click "clear all" to take down that layout before trying on Background Station's image.

B---- Be sure that you are looking at your profile page and not your home page...if you are not too familiar with this, layouts only show up on your profile and/or blog pages. On your MySpace homepage click "view my profile".

C---- Be patient, sometimes the fix is as simple as giving your profile page enough time to fully load.

D---- None of the above? Heck, we'll take the blame. Go to your my layouts section on this site and just attempt to try one of the layouts you've made on again. Give us a holler if you've cleared your old layouts code and still don't see the Background Station layout you made.
3. I can't find any good images. What can I do? >> view
Because our site pulls any images, regardless of size from Flickr, Google, and Yahoo!, some of them are stretched when you make them layout-sized. Try adding the word "wallpaper" after your search term to narrow it down to some good layout-ready images. Click to check all of the search engine options. Still can't find something good? Upload a picture from your computer that you know you like!
4. Why do you need my MySpace login info? What are you going to do with it? >> view
Instead of having to cut and paste codes, we'll just send the code you've created straight to your myspace site. But to do this, we have to have your login. Don't worry, we only use it for that purpose and we don't store or sell your login info! No spam to worry about! If you want to know more, check out our privacy policy.
